It's 17 miles in either direction to the nearest grocery store. Many of our elders do not drive, kids are too little to drive. Neither get fresh food or vegetables.....That's the backbone of our cause. Please consider donating to help our small community grow.

Our Story

....It all started over lettuce (or lack of)

Pavo's Produce is your go-to community store, dedicated to providing fresh and nutritious food options to support a healthy lifestyle. We grow the finest organic plants to ensure the highest quality for our customers. Our mission is to make healthy eating convenient and enjoyable, promoting well-being and vitality.

An organic plastic free pledge....Feed the dirt!

We can't stand plastics, we try to recycle and reuse it every chance we get. Please if you get the chance to be creative and recycle it in to a beautiful work of art. Please share, we'd love to see your creation!

....Oh, Lett-uce share our story.....

We used to have an IGA when I first moved here. It didn't have much (but an odder) they had closed it and opened it a few times. Foreigners bought it back and forth, but the last "wow" was they took out the small milk and cheese section to put beer in it's place. You had to procced with caution if you bought from there. This last time it's been closed for over a year now.

In our small town we have one gas station and a dollar store, neither have produce. Making tacos, veggies are a must!

It was already 7pm at night, no way I could go to town (17 miles), get what I needed, and come back, and get dinner cooked before 10pm that night. So, we didn't get tacos. Sad, I know.

However, it did get my mind to thinking. What do the older people do in our small city? The kids? What are they eating? What if they can't get to town? For my love of dirt, a pull at my heart stings, and my small blank canvas of land. I wanted to help, and that's what I've set out to do.

 .....Creating Pavo's Community Garden

It will take me a few years, no doubt. My hopes are to build strong relationships in this neighborhood, that they will welcome us, and know if I can help I will. That's my mission.
